Larry and Robin Byrd are the owners of Falls Academy child development center here in Raleigh, NC. Our school is a Christian family-owned center. We are not a franchise.
We try to instill Christian values into the children by reading bible stories and saying a prayer of thanks before meals.
Falls Academy has grown in its 6 years from 2 kids to over 80 children and still growing. Running a child development center has been a long-standing dream of ours that God answered. Larry and I do not come from the childcare field but our love for children made opening a child development center a natural fit.

Ms. Aimee graduated from East Carolina University in 2006, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Family and Community Services. After working with children, Ms. Aimee decided to go back to Wake Community College to obtain her Early Childhood Administration Level III Credentials. Ms. Aimee has been working with children for 14 years. She has been a director for 5 years.
Ms. Aimee is the mother to an amazing princess. They love having girls’ days out at the nail and hair salon.
She believes that the first 5 years are the most important ones. Children are our future leaders. Every child should have the opportunity to learn while feeling safe and loved.
Ms. Aimee strongly encourages learning through play. Her philosophy is to build and create an environment that invites children to learn. She feels that children learn best when they are having fun...time flies when you are having fun. Think about it: As adults, our most memorable memories are when we are having fun.

Ms. Pamela is the Program Coordinator. She has been with Falls Academy for 4 years.
Ms. Pamela is an extremely hard worker and treats the children here like her own. She loves to get hugs and hi-fives from the children every morning.
Ms. Pamela is the mother of two amazing adult children. When not at Falls Academy she loves hanging out with her grandchildren and family and of course shopping.
